Asustek Computer will begin marketing its ZenFone 2 smartphones in Myanmar, Cambodia and Bangladesh in the first quarter of 2016, according to a Chinese-language Economic Daily News (EDN) report.

Asustek is currently in talks with local first-tier channel operators in the three markets for cooperation and will also sell its smartphones through its PC sales channels, the paper said.

Sales of the ZenFone smartphones to the three new markets are part of Asustek's efforts to ramp up its total smartphone shipments to 30 million units in 2016, added the paper.
