ASUS ZenFone Zoom was unveiled back at CES this year and was expected to go on sale sometime in the second quarter of 2015, which didn't happen. Today, ASUS has officially announced the handset and promised to launch it starting mid-December in Taiwan.

Two versions will be available, which only have different chipsets and internal storage. The 128 GB version features a 2.5 GHz quad-core Intel Atom Z3590 processor, while the 64 GB variant will have a slower 2.4 GHz Atom Z3580. The rest of the specs are the same on both variants. They are expected to go on sale priced at $430 (13,990 TWD), $490 (15,990 TWD), respectively.
