If you are about to purchase Microsoft's high-end tablet or its first ever notebook, then you are out of luck. According to reports, Microsoft had to delay shipments of Surface Pro 4 and Surface Book due to a shortage of the Intel's Skylake processors.
Unlike its competitors, Microsoft won't have to reduce orders for the first quarter of 2016 because of seasonal factors, since the demand for the Surface Book and Surface Pro 4 are high. The sources added that the Surface Book's monthly shipments will have a chance to surpass 100,000 units and around 200,000 units for Surface 4 in the first quarter. |
