Oppo R7 Plus was announced back in May, alongside the standard R7 smartphone. Now, a few months after, the company has decided to announce an improved version of the R7 Plus handset. The new model features 4 GB of RAM and a 64 GB of internal storage, compared to 3 GB/32 GB.

Except for the improved specifications, the rest of the handset is identical as the standard R7 Plus. The new model will be slightly more expensive and will be available in China at first. The expected price tag is 2,999 Yuan ($470) for the China Unicom variant, and 3,299 Yuan ($480) for the international variant.
