Samsung has recently announced its second-generation A series of smartphones, which consists of three smartphones, including Galaxy A3, Galaxy A5 and Galaxy A7. Two other Galaxy A smartphones were rumoured to be announced, but that apparently didn't happen.
We still don't know what is going on with the Galaxy A9, but the Galaxy A8 has been officially announced in Japan. However, it looks like it isn't the 2016 edition, but rather a Japanese version of the existing Galaxy A8 model.
There are some changes, such as the Snapdragon 615 SoC was swapped for the Samsung Exynos 5433. The rest of the specs are the same, and there are no changes in design. |
