The Xperia Z6 family has been rumoured to feature five smartphones, including the Xperia Z6 mini, Xperia Z6 Compact, Xperia Z6, Xperia Z6 Plus, and Xperia Z6 Ultra. At least four have been rumoured to pack Qualcomm Snapdragon 820, but the latest rumours deny that.

There will be only two flagship models, released in June and October 2016, that will use Snapdragon 820 chipset. The report also says this will be the first time that a flagship Sony smartphone will feature a metallic back shell. This means no Xperia Z6 smartphones at the upcoming CES 2016 trade show.
