Earlier this month, Microsoft has launched its affordable Windows 10 Mobile smartphone in certain regions in Europe and United States. The Lumia 550 is now available in India and can be purchased for only Rs 9,399 outright, which is about $140 or €130.

The price tag is exactly the same as in other countries, so Indian users do not have to complain over the price as in the past. The entry-level Lumia handset continues arriving in various countries and it is only a matter of time before it becomes available worldwide.
