The HTC One X9 was first rumoured to be the company's flagship handset, but after a few reports, it turns out it is a new mid-range device, which could be announced very soon. According to HTC's official Weibo account, the phone might be unveiled tomorrow, on December 24.

The company posted a teaser that shows the outline of a phone with an "X", suggesting that HTC could announce it tomorrow. The handset features an octa-core MediaTek SoC, 2 GB of RAM, a 13 MP camera, and a 3,000 mAh battery, while the rest of the specs will be known after the announcement.
