As rumoured yesterday, HTC has just announced the One X9 smartphone in China, where it is priced at 2,399 yuan, or around $370 and will soon go on sale. As for the international market, there are no details when the new mid-range handset will be available.

Previous leaks were legit, as the handset looks the same. We could say that the One X9 is the more premium version of the A9 launched. A metal body packs a 5.5-inch 1080p IPSdisplay with capacitive buttons below the display, and BoomSound speakers on the front. The heart of the phone is MediaTek X10 octa-core processor, 3 GB of RAM, 32 GB of expandable storage, dual SIM slots, and a 3,000 mAh battery, with support for fast charging.
