Asustek Computer ranked as the number one notebook vendor with a 54% share in Taiwan's notebook market in the first 10 months of 2015, according to sources from the local retail channels.

Asustek's notebook shipments during the January-October period were 2.5 times higher than those shipped by the first runner, said sources.

Asustek took the top-ranked title as it has continued to make ground in the 13-inch, 2-in-1 and gaming notebook sectors, according to a Chinese-language investor.com report.

Sales of Asustek's 13-inch ZenBook UX305 and the Window 10-based 2-in-1 Transformer Book T100HA have continued gaining momentum in the local market, said the report.
