Earlier this month, BlackBerry hinted that it will lower the price of its Android smartphone. The first country to get the price cut is Canada, where one Canadian carrier has reduced the two-year contract price of the phone by 38% to $249.99 CAD ($180 USD).
That is a price cut of $150 CAD ($109 USD). The deal is available both in the physical stores and online from SaskTel carrier. The off-contract price is still similar compared to other deals, but it is only a matter of time before BlackBerry slashes the price in other regions as well. |
