Upcoming television models from Samsung will include integrated SmartThings hubs that will let the TVs control various smart devices. Every flagship TV included in the 2016 lineup will come with the SmartThings features, which means the TVs can operate as hubs for lights, thermostats, cameras, and other devices.

There are around 200 SmartThings-compatible products on the market and Samsung acquired the technology in 2014.

When those TVs begin rolling out, Samsung says it will enable SmartThings functions on a region-by-region basis.

More information about the 2016 TV lineup will come out at CES 2016.
