The upcoming CES 2016 trade show is a place where many companies will unveil their products for 2016. One of them is Huawei, who is now being rumoured to announce a new member of its popular P series of smartphones, the long anticipated Huawei P9 handset.

The Huawei P9 is expected to be unveiled at the CES 2016, and according to a report from analyst Pan Jiutang, the smartphone will have 6 GB of RAM inside. He also added that the 13 MP rear camera will have some sort of new algorithm that has been several years in the making.

The rest of the specs are unknown, but according to previous rumours, it should feature a 5.2-inch 1080p display, the Kirin 950 SoC with an octa-core CPU, and the Mali-T880 MP4 GPU.
