Acer is planning to showcase its latest high-end 2-in-1 device, the Aspire Switch 12 S at CES 2016, adopting magnetic hinges and support different usage models, including notebook, tablet and display.

The 2-in-1 device adopts a 12.5-inch Full HD display and is only 7.85mm thick and weigh 800g or 1,400g with keyboard. The device is equipped with Intel's Core M processor and Windows 10 and supports USB 3.0 transmission. Consumers can also choose to equip 4GB/8GB memory and a 128GB/256GB solid state drive (SSD) for their devices.

In addition, Acer will also showcase its Iconia One 8 (B1-850) tablet, featuring a 8-inch HD IPS display and a quad-core processor, targeting children specifically. The tablet is pre-installed with Kids Center app store, which allows parents to pick apps suitable for their children.
