Asustek Computer has announced that it will begin marketing its flagship smartphone, the ZenFone Zoom, in the US in February, priced at US$399.

The vendor is currently showcasing the ZenFone Zoom alongside its ZenFone 2 series models as well as its new 2-in-1 Transformer Book Chi tablet products, at the ongoing CES 2016.

Among the displays, the ZenFone 2 Deluxe (ZE551ML) is the flagship model of the ZenFone 2 series, which is powered by an Intel 64-bit Atom Z3580 2.3GHz CPU and features a 5.5-inch Full HD IPS display paired with 4GB RAM, supporting 4G LTE technology, according to company data.

Asustek will begin selling ZenFone 2 products in the US from the second quarter of 2016, according to market sources.

The Transformer Book Chi tablets will come in three sizes: 12.5-inch T300 Chi which is powered by an Intel Core M CPU with prices beginning at US$699; 10.1-inch T100 Chi powered by an Intel Atom Z3775 CPU priced at 399; and 8.9-inch T90 Chi also with an Atom Z3775 CPU priced at US$299. The company has not yet set the timetable for the release of the Chi series products, said the sources.
