After debuting in September, Sony has finally decided to launch its Xperia Z5 lineup in the US. Starting February 7, customers in the United States will be able to purchase either the Xperia Z5 or the Xperia Z5 Compact from Amazon, Best Buy and B&H Photo in unlocked versions.

There is no word on the company's premium model, the 4K display-equipped Xperia Z5 Premium. As for the pricing, the 5.2-inch Sony Xperia Z5 will sell for $599, while the 4.7-inch Xperia Z5 Compact will cost $499. Although Sony has struggled in the US, maybe this is the first step into a good direction.
