Huawei has launched its Honor 5X handset in Europe, after it officially became available for purchase in the US. Unlike the Chinese model, the new Honor 5X will get improved innards. The Chinese company confirmed that the Honor 5X will now come with a newer Qualcomm chipset.

The chipset in question is the 1.5 GHz octa-core Snapdragon 616 processor. The rest of the smartphone's specs remain the same as the Chinese model, including 2 GB or 3 GB of RAM, a 5.5-inch 1080p IPS display 16 GB of expandable storage, a 13-megapixel rear camera with autofocus, dual-LED flash and a 5-megapixel selfie camera, a 3,000 mAh battery, a fingerprint sensor, as well as 4G LTE and dual-SIM support.
