Nokia intends to re-enter the smartphone market, but the company is not rushing into that industry. Rajeev Suri, Nokia's CEO, said in an interview that his company is still moving towards finding a licensing partner to build phones. Though, that may not occur this year and could instead happen in 2017.

In Nokia's vision, it will find a good partner to design and build phones. Nokia will primarily provide its brand name to the handsets, with its partner actually creating them.

Nokia sold its mobile division to Microsoft in 2013 for $7.2 billion and has hinted at its desire to re-enter that market.
