Meizu has no clue when its PRO 5 Mini smartphone will enter the market now that an earthquake in Taiwan has largely destroyed the facilities that had been working on it. Until now, Meizu hadn't publicly acknowledged the phone, but it did while discussing the earthquake on Weibo.
Li Nan, the company's VP of technology, says the earthquake has damaged many Meizu resources. Due to the damage, the PRO 5 Mini is postponed indefinitely and possibly cancelled.
It had been rumored to come with a 4.7-inch 1080p display, 32/64 GB of storage, and a MediaTek processor. |
