Before announcing the flagship Mi 5 smartphone, Xiaomi has unveiled the more affordable Mi 4s smartphone. The handset will replace the last year's Xiaomi Mi 4i and is supposed to find its place somewhere between the Mi 4 and the new Mi 5 smartphones.

The 64 GB model will go on sale priced at 1,699, which is around $260 in 60 in black, white, gold, and pink. This is very close to the price of the Mi 5 base model, so it is questionable how the phone will sell. It is also expected to go on sale in China on March 1.
