One of Apple's patent infringement cases against Samsung has gone from being a $2.2 billion claim to a $0 claim. The latest ruling in the case from the US Circuit Court of Appeals has determined Samsung doesn't owe Apple the $120 million it was awarded by a jury in 2014.

The case was based around three patents and this latest court ruling says Apple should have never been granted two of them. As for the last patent, the court said Samsung didn't infringe on it.

Apple still has another ongoing case against Samsung that claims the company violated its patent with its phone designs. That case includes another Apple victory, but the victory could be challenged all the way to the Supreme Court.
