Xiaomi Mi 5 handset looks to be the best smartphone in 2016, considering its price, specifications and design, but the company is having hard times keeping up with the demand. The company received nearly 17 million registrations prior to its first flash sale.

This means some of us will have to wait for months before they get a Mi 5, and the launch in other regions might be postponed since the company prepared around 4 million Mi 5 units for its first batch of stock. Xiaomi has now allegedly asked its manufacturing partners Foxconn and Inventec to increase production.

The next Mi 5 flash sale will start on March 8 at 10 AM Beijing time, but as there are millions of users on the hunt, better be quick.
