If you are a fan of both HTC and Nexus devices, you'll be happy to hear that HTC has signed a 3-year deal with Google to be the exclusive manufacturer of all Nexus phones. The company will allegedly be in charge of manufacturing smartphones, but not tablets.
That could mean that other company could be in charge of the tablet lineup. Over the past few months, there has been a lot of rumors surrounding the Nexus program, suggesting that Google might shut down the Nexus program.
A few weeks ago, popular tipster LlabTooFeR said that HTC will make two Nexus phones this year. Codenamed T50 and T55, the phones will sport a 5-inch and 5.5-inch displays, respectively. This is also a first time that Google signed a three-year deal with an OEM for the Nexus program. |
