Dell has just announced the launch of the fifth-gen of XPS 13 Developer Edition Ubuntu laptop in the United States, along with the global availability of the Precision lineup of Ubuntu-based workstations. Both lineups are part of the project Sputnik, which continues to evolve.
The Project Sputnik started four years ago with a $40K internal innovation fund and the idea of creating a Linux-based laptop for developers. Here are the configurations:
