During an event today, MediaTek officially announced full specifications and features of the upcoming Helio X20 chipset. The company also talked about the flagship Helio X25, which is co-developed with Meizu and will only be available in the Meizu's Pro 6 smartphone.

The Helio X20 chipset features a deca-core processor with 2 x A72 cores running at 2.3 GHz, 4 x A53 1.4 GHz in one cluster and another 4 x A53 1.4 GHz in the other, all paired with Mali T880 MP4 GPU, fast charging support via Pump Express 3.0+, VOLTE, and full network support.

The Helio X25 is only improved version of the Helio X20. It has higher clocked Cortex-A72, at 2.5 GHz and faster GPU (850 MHz). Despite better performance and higher clocks, the power draw should remain the same.
