Apple also forgot to mention some specifications of the new 9.7-inch iPad Pro. Although many thought the tablet would arrive with 4 GB of RAM, it packs only 2 GB, the same as the new iPhone SE. What many didn't know is it comes with underclocked Apple A9X chipset.

The company listed the new iPad with A9X, the same one as the 12.9-inch iPad Pro, but if you take a closer look, you'll see some difference. While the 12.9-inch iPad Pro has a 2.5x faster CPU and 5x faster graphics, the 9.7-inch iPad Pro is listed with a 2.4x faster CPU and 4.3x faster graphics. The reason behind underclocking is probably because the 9.7-inch can't dissipate heat as well as the larger 12.9-inch iPad Pro.
