Acer's new Chromebook 14 doubles down on its name by offering both a 14-inch display and 14 hours of battery life. The Chrome OS laptop comes in a few models, with the HD model receiving the greatest battery life. A full HD model is also coming out, but it's limited to 12 hours of life.

Inside the laptop is an Intel Celeron dual or quad-core N3060 processor and 2/4 GB of RAM. All models feature Acer's ComfyView which offers "low-reflection and anti-glare properties."

For connectivity, the Chromebook 14 has 802.11ac and Bluetooth 4.2. It comes with 16 or 32 GB of storage--like with other Chrome OS devices, there's a big focus on the cloud.
The laptop will be out in April and you can preorder it now. A top of the line Chromebook 14 costs $300. |
