Xiaomi has just officially announced the new Redmi 3 Pro handset, an improved version of the popular Redmi 3. The handset has recently received certification and has appeared several times in various benchmark databases, but the company made it official today.

The new Redmi 3 Pro features some upgrades in the memory, storage, and sensor areas. It has 3 GB of RAM, 32 GB of storage and a fingerprint scanner on the back. The rest of the specs remain the same. It will go on sale in China starting from April 6th, but no details about the global roll out yet. The expected price tag is 899 Yuan or $140.
