Acer has just announced a 24-inch Chromebase that targets small video conferencing team. The device is now available for $799 from Promevo, a Google Apps and Chromebook reseller. The price also includes Google's $250 annual charge for Chromebox for meetings management and support.
At first, it is limited to Australia, Canada, Ireland, U.K. and the U.S., but it should reach more regions soon.
As for the specs, it packs a 24-inch 1080p touch display with four integrated microphones, two stereo speakers, and an adjustable HD camera. Under the hood, there is a dual-core Intel Celeron 3215U processor clocked at 1.7 GHz, 4 GB of RAM, and 16 GB of storage. It also has three USB 3.0, one USB 2.0 ports, an SD card reader and an HDMI slot. |
