Samsung has recently launched the second-generation Galaxy J7 smartphone that is expected to go on sale in China very soon. The heart of the phone is Samsung's Exynos 7870 processor, but thanks to the newest Geekbench listing, we found out that Snapdragon version is in the works.

The new Galaxy J7 (2016) version will be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 617 and will have model number SM-J7109. The processor is clocked at 1.52 GHz and has a model number MSM8952. The rest of the specifications are the same as the Exynos-powered variant.
