Microsoft has just announced a new Type Cover for the Surface Pro 4 and Surface Pro 3. Dubbed the Signature Type Cover, the keyboard cover is made out luxurious Alcantara fabric, which has two-tone grey mélange style of Alcantar, a unique material used in high-end products.

It has the same design, including magnetic interface, spaced keys for faster typing, and a larger glass trackpad, but weighs 285 grams, slightly less than the 310-gram original Type Cover. It is priced higher than the original Type Cover, at $159.99 and is available in the U.S. through the official Microsoft online store.
