VAIO's Windows 10 Mobile smartphone is now available for purchase in company's home country of Japan. The handset was announced back in February, but it went on sale only now. It is listed on VAIO's website for JPY 59,184, which is around $535 at the current exchange rate.

That is significantly higher than the JPY 50,000 ($430) price tag that was promised at the announcement by the company. If you live in the United States and would like to purchase the phone, the only way is to import it as the company has already confirmed it has no plans to launch to device in the country.
