Today in China, Huawei has officially announced the long-rumoured Honor 5C handset. The new mid-range device is available in two versions - the 3G-only model and 4G-enabled. They are both available in China for CNY 899 ($140) and CNY 999 ($155), respectively. Still no words on global availability.

The Honor 5C features a 5.2-inch IPS LCD with 1080p resolution that is powered by Kirin 650 chipset with an octa-core CPU, 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB of expandable storage, and a 3,000 mAh battery. Other specs include a 13 MP primary shooter, an 8 MP front camera, a fingerprint sensor on the back, dual-SIM support and Android 6.0 Marshmallow with EMUI 4.1 on top.
