Pegatron expects operations in the second quarter to hit bottom for the year, with corresponding notebook shipments to drop 10-15% on quarter, motherboard/desktop shipments to fall 5-10% and revenues from consumer electronics to slip 20-25%, company CEO Jason Cheng said at a May 10 investors conference.
Pegatron reported consolidated revenues at NT$256.382 billion (US$7.90 billion), net profit NT$4.106 billion and net EPS NT$1.58 for the first quarter of 2016. Handsets and other communications devices accounted for 61% of first-quarter consolidated revenues, IT products 17%, consumer electronics 12% and other product lines 10%.
Pegatron reported consolidated revenues of NT$65.077 billion for April, declining 27.18% on month and 16.32% on year, and NT$321.597 billion for January-April, dropping 8.64% on year. |
