The HTC Desire 820 was recently replaced with the Desire 830 after almost two years, but the company didn't forget about it. Starting today, HTC has released a new software update based on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow that also has the version 7.0 of the Taiwanese company's Sense UI.

We can't comment on the official changes except for the standard Marshmallow improvements, which include Google Now On Tap, redesigned app permissions and Doze, which shuts down inactive apps and prevents them from running in the background, resulting in longer battery life.
