Thanks to Evan Blass, more information and an image of the upcoming ASUS ZenPad tablet have been leaked. The new ASUS ZenPad Z8 tablet is heading to Verizon Wireless once it becomes official, but there is no word when it would be launched and what price tag it would carry.

The tablet packs an 8-inch display with a resolution of 1,536 x 2,048 pixels and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 processor, 2 GB of RAM and will offer 16 GB of built-in storage that can be expanded via microSD card slot. The camera department includes an 8-megepixel rear and a 1.8-megapixel front camera.
