Lenovo wasn't the only one that had something to announce today. Oppo has just announced its A59 handset in China that will go on sale later this month, on June 18. Since it is a mid-range handset, it will be priced at around $270 (RMB 1799) and be available in gold and rose gold.

It comes with a 5.5-inch HD IPS display, MediaTek MT6570 chipset with a 1.5 GHz octa-core Cortex-A53 CPU, 3 GB of RAM, 32 GB of storage, a 3,075 mAh battery, Android 5.1 Lollipop with ColorOS 3.0 UI on top. There is a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front shooter.
