Google's Project Tango is finally available for consumers thanks to the partnership between Google and Lenovo. After launching the Tango tablet back in 2014, we have a first Tango smartphone. Lenovo has now announced its first Project Tango phone, the Lenovo PHAB 2 Pro.
It comes with a metal unibody and decent hardware, but most importantly is the addition of a depth camera and a motion tracking camera on the back. Using the cameras, the phone can learn areas, and therefore recognize places in which it's been before. It's able to map physical spaces, track objects, project virtual effects, help you navigate indoor places and more.
The Lenovo PHAB 2 Pro will be available in Champagne Gold and Gunmetal Grey colors, priced at $499 available starting this September
