Just like Gionee, Meizu has also announced a new smartphone today. The new m3s comes as a minor upgrade over the existing m3, featuring a 5-inch 720p display with 2.5D glass. Two versions will be available, priced at CNY 699 ($100) and CNY 899 ($140).

Both models are the same except for the memory configuration - the standard model comes with 2 GB/16 GB configuration, while the higher-end model has 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage. Another change is with the cameras. The new m3s has a 13MP primary shooter with an f/2.2 aperture, dual-tone dual-LED flash and phase detection autofocus, paired with a 5 MP f2.0 snapper.
