Only a few days after announcing the Redmi 3s, a cheaper version of the standard Redmi 3, Xiaomi has now announced yet another Redmi 3 variant. The new Redmi 3X is a China Unicom specific version of the Redmi 3s that is offered in silver and gold with a price of CNY 899 ($140).

It shares the same specifications and design as the Redmi 3s, including a metal unibody, a fingerprint sensor on the back and packs a 4100mAh battery.
