Out of all recalls, batteries were the main problems and the same goes for HP's latest recall. If you have purchased HP Envy, ProBook, Presario, or Pavilion notebook within the past three years, you may want to download the utility checker and see if your notebook is affected.

The worldwide battery recall concerns Panasonic batteries for certain HP notebooks sold between March 2013 and August 2015. Spare batteries may also be affected and they tend to overheat and catch on fire under certain conditions. Batteries with the following serial numbers are affected:
