Samsung will soon announce the long anticipated next-gen flagship phablet, the Galaxy Note 7, which will replace the well-accepted Galaxy Note 5. The biggest problem of Galaxy Note 5 is that it wasn't globally available, and Samsung tends to change that, among other things.
Not only there will design changes and improved specifications, but people will have a choice to purchase the phablet with either Exynos 8893 or Snapdragon 821 SoC. The latter chipset is allegedly rebranded to Snapdragon 823 and there won't be Snapdragon 821 version.
Other specs, confirmed by other reports, include a 5.7-inch Quad HD display, 6 GB of RAM, 64/128/256 GB storage options, a 12 MP/5 MP camera combo, and a 4,000 mAh battery. It will also be the first Samsung phone to feature USB Type-C port. |
