To avoid the same destiny that HTC and BlackBerry are currently going through, LG has announced that they will restructure its mobile division. Although LG G5 is a great concept and very easy to use, the phone wasn't that successful and that is the reason behind restructure.
The company has allegedly dismissed several of their staff and is in the process of creating a special "program management office" that will oversee product development for the foreseeable future. That division will also answer directly to LG Mobile's head Cho Juno. Hopefully the Project Ara will learn from LG's mistakes. |
