Samsung is known for launching different variants of the same smartphone that have all the same specs except the chipset. The flagship Galaxy S7 isn't different, which can be purchased with Snapdragon 820 in the US, or with Exynos 8890 in other parts of the world.
At paper, the differences between Exynos 8890 and Snapdragon 820 look big, since the latter has only a quad-core processor compared to the octa-core in Exynos model. There aren't much differences in real time performance, but thanks to a new tool, it looks like the Snapdragon-based variant is less efficient.
